History

Garden Pond Productions

In 1979, our CSO was adopted by a loving family in Orrington, ME.

Cherie and Brian Young decided to give her the name Rebecca. Cherie's idea was that the name Rebecca could be a doctor or an actor.  A teacher or a pilot.

A big fan of Shirley Temple, Rebecca reminded Cherie of the film Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.

Since Brian owned Garden Pond Nursery, Cherie would come to refer to her daughter  as Rebecca of Garden Pond.

The rose and lily of the valley, in the company logo, represents Cherie's two favorite flowers.  An homage to both parents and in loving memory of Cherie - who sadly passed away in 2005.
